Rockford USSSA John Maitland Memorial

Where: Rockford Christian High School and other area schools
Games: 3-Game Minimum
Cost: $550.00
The winner of this tournament receives an automatic berth to the USSSA National Invitational held in Crystal Lake at the end of July. This is one of the few tournaments that will determine an Illinois team that will represent the state in the National Invitational.
The tournament will feature two IHSA umpires per game and a three-game guarantee. All baseballs will be provided by Bison Sporting Events. There is no gate fee for this tournament.

Bison Sports Strike Out Hunger Tournament**Benefits the Rockford Rescue Mission**

In 2010, Matt Feltz organized a tournament to benefit the Food Pantry and the Toys for Tots organization. This year Matt has joined up with Bison Sporting Events and has organized a benefit to support the Rockford Rescue Mission. Rockford Rescue Mission shares hope and help to move people from homelessness and despair toward personal and spiritual wholeness.

This tournament is one of your last chances to qualify for a USSSA World Series. The winner can choose which event to attend provided they play in the State tournament. Each game will feature two umpires and there is no gate fee for this tournament.
All baseballs will be provided by Bison Sporting Events. The tournament will be played at quality locations. Harlem Community Center features a skate park, playground, walking path and full concessions. The whole family can make a day of it and eat at their full service concession stand. The 18u division will play at the newly revamped Rockford Christian High School baseball field.

Where: Marian University, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin
Games: 3-Game Minimum including Evaluation Day
Cost: $750 includes two Dream Bats per team
Bison Sporting Events and Dream Bats are excited to bring this event to the Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin area. This event is guaranteed to be attended by college coaches and professional scouts. Each team will have the players information given to the attendees for their reference during the weekend.
Schedule of Events:
Friday, June 8: Noon - 4 pm - Evaluation Day
Evaluation Day will be conducted by college coaches and will measure each players 60-yard time, throwing speed from infield and outfield, and hitting. Pitchers will be evaluated during game play.
Friday, June 8: 5:30 - 8 pm - Discussion of the recruiting process and NCAA rules. Also, a discussion of the differences between NCAA I, II, and III, NAIA, and NJCAA.
Saturday, June 9: 9 am - 7 pm - Pool play begins
Sunday, June 10: 9 am - 7 pm - Tournament Concludes
